Hi there! Does anyone have a good way of managing NT domain password changes for remote users?
Essentially, I have 50 users working working from home. They VPN into a Microsoft's PPTP server. Every 60 days their domain password changes and many times when they start their VPN connection, it'll will alow them to change their domain password. However, this process doesn't always work, and often the IT staff needs to generate and give the user his new password, which is pretty bad. Does anyone know of any ways to remotely change a domain password? I disabled this functionality in OWA b/c of the number of vulnerabilites. The remote users use a local account to log into their remote computers (pass-thru authentication). I tried putting their machines in the domain, but this creates an even bigger mess when changing passwords. Does anyone have this problem figured out? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
