I'm a first time poster, long time lurker to this list ;-)
I'm playing around with the more useful features of Linux at the moment
tcpdump, Ethereal, etc. and I'm wondering about what products are available
(pref. free) to analyse network traffic, with regards to balancing networks,
switches, etc.
I know I can capture all the network traffic using Ethereal or tcpdump, but
what's the best way to find out how much/what sort of traffic is going
to/from each PC/switch.
Any help/pointers gratefully received
