How about Password Safe? - www.counterpane.com/passsafe.html
It's mainly for storing passwords locally in encrypted form but it includes a password
generator that'll give you a random string consisting of numbers and upper+lowercase
letters. Looks good to me and it's free. I'm planning on using this software as
standard in our organisation so I'd be very interested to know if anyone is aware of
any problems with it.
(Not to be confused with another Password Safe that stores your passwords on it's
web site.....ehhh, don't think so.)
