Hi guru's.. A little question. I'm doing some Sec audit and vulnerability assessment for a customer. For some reason, I need to find remotely (and automated if possible : 500 machine to scan)way of finding if a NT/W2k machine has the IP forwarding option enabled when multi-homed.. Is there a Registry key to search? Can I script it into Nessus? And by the way, how can I enable or disable the forwarding remotely? I mean, in the Pen test, if I get Admin remotely, and I would like to Pen test the other network connected to the machine (Typically a SAN), can I enable IP forwarding remotely ? Assuming I have no physicall access to the machine...
