Hi everyone;

Was wondering how I can stop these attacks.
I have a feeling they cant be stopped on my end.

I have cable service at home, and if I turn off all computers, and leave the
cable modem on,
the incoming data lights flicker about 1000 times in 2minutes.

When I "used to" run IIS on port 80, I saw all the attacks were coming from
my ISP's IP addresses(24.168.*.*),
and the attack was a choice of Nimda or Code Red/Blue. Now I run suse/linux
and have apache on port 81.

Problem is... I'm still being hit at the modem.
I called my ISP, and it seems they have no clue to what's going on.
Changing my IP Address doesn't help. I'm like stuck watching the lights
flickering.

Anything I can do?

Thanks,

Dominick S.
