Howdy Folks, This is simply a message that will allow me to weed out any "out of office" notices or other auto responses that tend to clog up the inboxes of Security-Basics respondents.
Just as a reminder, if you are planning to be away from the office, or if you plan to turn on an autoresponse, please do your fellow Security-Basics members a favour and unsubscribe from the list prior to doing so. To unsubscribe from the list simply send an e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] from the subscribed address. The contents of the subject or message body do not matter. Once you return to the office, you can resubscribe to Security-Basics by sending an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Again, the subject and the message of the e-mail do not matter. Also, for new list members, please do your fellow list members a favour and conduct some basic research prior to posting to the list. The first step in this process is to run a simple Google search (http://www.google.com). Failing that, please check the archives of Security-Basics for similar threads (http://online.securityfocus.com/archive/105). As the list is already very busy. taking this step prior to posting your question to the list will ensure that the list remains an efficient, effective resource for all parties.
