It depends.

If you fail to turn it off and it gets sent to multiple mailing lists, you
might be inviting the wrath of an annoyed list-admin. :-)

It's probably not a good idea anyway.. don't need to be advertising the
fact that you're going to be gone for X number of days.

Besides, sysadmins rarely get vacations. ;)
