Do it once and mirror it out with ghost. Or get something like RegShot and take a snapshot of the registry. Then make all your changes to that machine...software settings etc Then take the second snapshot and compare. (this shows all the registry changes that took place) Then make a .reg script that adds all those into the registry, and copy the c:\documents and settings folder...(you may want to look into altering the .default user folder also...)
THEN...paste the docs and settings folder to each machine (or just the pertinent subfolders if you wish, AND run the new reg script. That should take care of most of your problems... Obviously Ghosting is easier unless there are other, unnamed issues that keep you from using ghost... -t -----Original Message----- From: Sakhartov, Eliot [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, January 22, 2003 1:25 PM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: Outlook and Win2K Does anyone know of a way to setup Outlook 2000 with multiple profiles from a central location. Basically what I have are 7 workstation with the same 21 people on each workstation. I do not have the ability to implement roaming profiles, so currently the only method I can use is logging in 147 times and creating the profiles. I was hoping there was a way to create it in the default user profile, but I haven't found a way to do it. I've found a program, however their licensing deal is not feasible, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ~Eliot Sakhartov~ Lead Analyst Desktop Support Studio Operations Group/Corporate http://www.universalstudios.com
