I am nearly 100% positive that Tripwire's console is not free.
It is usually included in the site license, if you have one.
And the console doesn't work with the academic version, only the
mostly recent versions of the commercial TripWire for servers product.
But I have used the console as part of an eval. It is very nice! I
can see why they want money for it....
