Jamil is a member of the Java Security Libraries team at Oracle and  has
been an active contributor to the OpenJDK Security Group for
approximately two years. Jamil was voted in as a JDK 9 committer in
April, 2015, and has continued to play an active role working on the
security components of the JDK. Jamil has integrated many significant
bug fixes and enhancements especially in the PKI and TLS areas. He is
also the owner of JEP 249 ("OCSP Stapling for TLS"), which has
successfully reached Completed status for JDK 9.
