No, if it is a straight backport and you haven't changed the fix, it
should be safe.

It is a straight backport of the change, however the file the change
is being applied to differs slightly between 11 and 12.
Not in a way that seems to affect us today, but still worth mentioning.
Would you mind sponsoring this change?
I am not actively working on OpenJDK11u right now. Is there another
Committer from IBM or maybe RedHat that can sponsor this for you?
