At some point, every employee in our company will use a smartcard for authentication. Of course, users will put the smartcards mainly into windows clients. At the moment, I have still a change to influence the decision to what standard we may use, as sc's could be used for Solaris as well (not only end-user usage but e.g. crypto ZFS comes into my mind) I am by no means a smartcard pro. But as I understand, there are two standards. Either pkcs#11 or pc/sc (the windows way). Will Solaris support both standards (my guess) or/and will there be a preferred one?
