modify your files, run msec 4, run service shorewall restart ... this
should work ..

what mode are you using ?
maybe you have configured url filtering and you have a denied access page
like the following: 
http://peoples.mandrakesoft.com/~florin/pictures/firewall_pictures/firewall/timerestriction.png

(in that case you should add your authorized network)
