I had the same issue ( though only a single port Intel PRO/1000 ). I ended up compiling a 9.1 kernel ( which supports the PRO/1000 ) on a 9.0 system, which has all the required bits and pieces needed to properly do the compile ( I have a 9.0 and 8.2 system I can boot up in VMware ). One may also need to update shorewall as well if memory serves me correctly.
My current running version of MNF is mostly 8.2 with the kernel and a few other pieces lifted from later mandrake versions so that my hardware is actually supported.
I might still have a rpm lying around...
