It works fine here. Maybe you don't configure correctly your network
during the install or maybe there is something else. I have tested here
and it works without a problem.

it means you didn't configure correctly your network. Make sure you
associate the right zones to the right NICs.

you need a rule in order to allow the ping from fw to the address
specified for ping.
