I can reproduce that here and, after a short look, I notice that the /var/log/messages is very big ... maybe a log rotation issue. The fwlogwatch takes some time ... and in the meanwhile the web interface times out ... If I comment out all the system lines except the first one in the /usr/share/naat/scripts/fwlogwatch.pl script ... one can see it works ... for that part ...
