you also need to allow the ping from fw->wan ... it works fine here ... 
cat /etc/pingtest.conf to check out the right entry ...

3 to 17 should be fixed now

I can reproduce that here and, after a short look, I notice that the
/var/log/messages is very big ... maybe a log rotation issue. The
fwlogwatch takes some time ... and in the meanwhile the web interface
times out ... 

If I comment out all the system lines except the first one in the
/usr/share/naat/scripts/fwlogwatch.pl script ... one can see it works ...
for that part ... I'll have a closer look and come back to you ...
