/usr/share/naat/scripts/pingtest.sh
Status (status=ping:12.5s interface=eth0 address=adr:my_IP)
in that script there is a line like the following:
ping -w 5 -c 1 -i 1 your_target |awk '{print $8}'|grep time|sed -e
's|[^.]*=||g'
