The internet facing interface (eth1) will be connected to my broadband modem.
The broadband modem currently has an internal ip address of 192.168.1.1 and an external address provided by dhcp by the isp. It is a very stable address though, and will do for testing.
I would like some help in understanding how this is to be configured. I thought that i should use the Internet Access -> DSL Connection on MNF2, but this asked for all sorts of info that is already on the broadband modem, e.g username, password, provider name, etc. Surely, this will clash with the modem settings? Am i supposed to use the Cable, Lan connection instead? Should the modem be changed from Routing mode to Bridge mode, so that all traffic will be passed directly Mnf2?
