I'm in the same situation... I'm wating for the final release ou at least a RC one to put in produtivity and then buy an upgrade program from Mandrake.... All I wanna know is if the MNF2 is alive.. will Mandrake invest in this product? Florin said that mandrake shoud elect a new colaborator to continue MNF2 program, but where is he (she)? chers Sergio Parsek Jim wrote: Allow me to preface this message with the fact that it's just my humble opinion and that you're free to ignore any and all of it as it's not meant to be offensive to anyone. :)Is it safe to assume that this email group has been abandoned by all but the users & testers? Not to be a PITA but seriously we were told that the final was going to be released on Valentines Day. Naturally I assumed that this would be February but now that we're into March did I assume incorrectly? :-( Some of us have been testing MNF2 since well before an ISO was even considered and now it would appear to the layman's eyes that we are plain being ignored. What's so wrong with giving us a soft date, anything to let people know that are planning on implementing MNF2. I have a definite need but don't want to throw a beta with a bunch of patches into a production environment as many of you are also indicating. If the final has no date, how about releasing another "beta iso" that has everything patched to date? JMHO, Jim McCormick |
