Director of Professional Services

General Responsibilities:
�       Lead security product company�s 
professional services efforts as well as training and 
education.  
�       Develop and launch a new professional 
consulting service initiative within 90 days of joining 
the company.  
�       Define staffing requirements and conduct 
necessary staffing tasks including: hiring, firing, 
mentoring, etc.
�       Act as primary liason between services 
and VP of Marketing, services and sales (including 
VP of sales), services and SE�s.

Skills Required:
�       7+ years of professional services 
background, leading for a minimum of 3.
�       Experience with all 3 aspects of the job: 
training/education, customer support, consulting 
services.
�       Strong written and verbal communications 
skills.
�       2-3 years in the security industry preferably 
intrusion detection, firewalls, or vulnerability 
assessment.
�       Proven program management skills 
running programs from concept to completion.
�       Experience developing service offerings for 
product oriented companies, preferably software.

�       Leadership
�       Interpersonal communication (including 
writing skills)
�       Good manager/mentor
�       Comfortable interfacing with all levels of 
management
�       Team player
�       Good understanding of sales cycles, sales 
people, sales processes, sales mentality
�       Good understanding of customers and 
their service needs.
�       Avid champion for the customer�
customer advocate.
