In this role, you will work with a premier system integrators focused on
enabling enterprises, telecommunication service providers and new economy
companies to communicate and transact effectively in an e-enabled
environment. Our client operates in many countries on around the world
providing world-class services in the areas of Network Services and E-
Commerce Architecture. You will be part of a growing Information
Security Consulting practice. Your role will be to assist the sales team
by meeting with technology decision makers within your region to identify
areas of Information Security Protection, Detection and Response. You
will be expected to make presentations high level IT decision makers in a
variety of different industry and government sectors. Your compensation
is based on a healthy base salary combined with an incentive bonus based
on your contribution to a group sales quota based on selling �Security
Solutions�. You will be expected to write contracts and to close
business. This position requires approximately 50% travel. Travel will
typically be Tuesday through Thursday versus Monday through Friday. You
will have the ability to control your travel to fit your schedule.
Expectations in this role are high but so are the rewards. You will be
near the ground floor of a growing practice in a well-established
international system integration company. Opportunity for future growth
is virtually unlimited. You must demonstrate a background that includes
selling �Solutions� versus just selling �Product�. It is strongly
preferred that you have a CISSP. You will be considered for this
position if you do not have a CISSP but you will be expected to earn your
CISSP in a defined period in order to earn a bonus. It is preferred that
you have a hands-on background working in networking and/or information
security architecture. While this is not a hands-on implementation role,
it is helpful if you have been in a hands-on role in the past where you
implemented security technologies such as: Network Security, Firewalls,
Intrusion Detection (IDS), Virus-Protection, Content Filtering, LDAP,
Remote Access Solutions, Access Controls, SSL, PKI, VPN, etc. You must
demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation skills in both
verbal and written formats.
