Key Functions & Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for:
· Working in the identification and up-front evidence collection process in
the field and within corporate forensics lab.
· Working to de-duplicate, image, verify, analyze and transfer secure data
sets from field investigations.
· Working with off-the-shelf and proprietary data collection, analysis, and
reporting tools.
· Providing assistance in the implementation of the NY forensics laboratory.
· Developing and conducting keyword searches in coordination with the
engagement team to identify and tag evidence in electronic discovery
efforts.
· Working within the boundaries of an overall practice methodology and
blueprint.
· Ongoing analysis and deployment of best practices applicable to the
computer forensics practice area.
· Review of current offering sets and development of new offerings in-line
with business need and market direction.
· Ongoing analysis of industry technology trends to incorporate proven
forensic investigation and supporting technologies into practice.
· Participation in the development of customer proposals.
· Assistance in the development of white-papers, published reports, and
articles relevant to the field of computer forensics.
Reporting Relationships
Position reports to the Director of the Northeast Computer Forensics
practice.
At least five (5) years of experience in the area of computer forensics with
documented formal training. Must have completed over 30 computer forensic
examinations within the past three years.  Demonstrable subject matter
expertise in all of the following areas: DOS, Windows (all versions), UNIX,
and large scale computing platforms (AS/400, Mainframe), Oracle, MS-SQL,
MS-Access, MS-Exchange and Lotus Notes.  Experience with the following
toolsets is critical: Encase, Paraben, Forensic Toolkit, Safeback, Visual
Basic, and vendor provided utilities.  Previous experience testifying at the
Federal or State level in computer forensic matters is considered positive.
Industry certifications considered valuable to this position include:  GCFA,
IACIS CFCE
Work efforts will be focused to NY metropolitan area.  Travel will be
required from time-to-time.


2)  Senior Consultant - Policy Compliance - InfoSec
Senior consultant with expert level understanding of complex policy
development, compliance, and implementation issues.  Exceptional experience
and understanding including, but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB, SB1386
and HIPAA programs. Expert level understanding of information security
processes and the mechanisms by which they tie to policy compliance.
Individual must be able to provide senior level executives guidance aimed at
identifying gaps in their current approach, providing remediation expertise,
and oversight in efforts to improve compliance levels. Individual must have
the ability to establish formal methodologies, promote best practices, and
develop and present white papers for the practice.  Strong proposal
development and presentation skills is essential.

· Researching and maintaining up-to-the-minute expertise in current
Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB, CA1386 and HIPAA compliance requirements.
· The analysis and deployment of best practices applicable to information
security based consulting initiatives in the area of policy compliance.
· Analysis of new offering sets in-line with business need and market

· Ongoing analysis of regulatory, federal and state trends as it relates to
current and planned regulations, laws, and guidelines.

At least ten (10) years of experience in the area of information security
with documented formal training coupled with a focus on the area of policy
compliance.  Experience in the financial services industry is highly
desirable.  Demonstrable subject matter expertise in all of the following
areas: policy comprehension, business and technology impact, and policy
research. Expert level understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley is essential.
