Encryption/PKI Engineer, Bank One The Encryption/PKI Engineer position will serve as a SR level member of a start up encryption specialty niche within Bank One's corporate IT Risk department. This is a rare opportunity to join the encryption team at its early development, serve in an integral role building the foundation of the group and structuring its overall composition in compliance with corporate legal standards and policies.
This position will be responsible for representing the encryption department as an internal consultant to various lines of businesses at Bank One, gaining a thorough understanding of encryption goals and serving as a subject matter expert in discussing future use of encryption. Furthermore, the Encryption/PKI Engineer will communicate the gathered encryption specifications to the encryption department and serve on the team in the architectural lay out and PKI technology deployment. The position will require the ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments and projects, as the encryption department will be evolving in relation with business demand. This position can be staffed in either Columbus or Chicago. Full relocation is available for qualified candidates. This position requires the following skills: 3 years demonstrated IT skills in Encryption technologies. 4 years demonstrated strong analytical skills. 4 years demonstrated good problem solving skills. Demonstrated excellent customer facing skills. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written & verbal). Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate issues between customer & management. Ability to work in a team environment. Prior experience in Information Security functions. Encryption technologies such as HSM, PGP, HTTPS, Secure Telnet and VPN. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) design, implementation, and operation. PKI local registration authority and issuance of user certificates. Digital Signing/Electronic Signatures. RSA Keon Suite of PKI products. LDAP v3 Architecture Knowledge.
