Is there a place where proposed changes to the protocol are being
collected for review? Being new to the list, I don't know how this
has been handled in the past.

Hi Alexander,
This a known issue in the network protocol and serialization
mechanism.
At present Sedna sends indent markup besides item itself.
I believe in the nearest future we will start work on a new version
of the protocol and cliend-side serialization mechanism.

Dear Sedna-discussion,
I found that something works incorrectly. In Client.c file I changed
query to:
res = SEexecute(&conn, "document(\"region\")/*/*/id_region/
string()");
Then after compilation and execution you will get the following
result:
Client started.
result item:
afr
result item:
asi
result item:
aus
result item:
eur
result item:
nam
result item:
sam
As you see since the second result item there is \n symbol at the
beginning of line.
