Hi, All !

I would like to express some thoughts about possible application of
XML Native DB technology.

Why I decided to post them here? Nobody knows.... Even me :))).

I hope they could be interesting to somebody.

When Sedna becomes very stable for any crazy situation it will be
possible to build some tools or technologies upon the Sedna (or other
Native XML DB).

I can call several of them (which really I really need already now on
my job :) ):

1) Native XML DB as system to keep the logs. Using XML it's very
simple to attach any data concerning to occurred situation. It's
important that the data will be accessible in structured form.

2) But we need mini-brower for logs in XML.

3) XML as general (and the only is we really need) data model for web
page (JEE-programming). The programming of data presentation, data
sinchronization and data-getting could be simplified with use of XML.
The idea is almost the sample as used in MS Excel: there are data
represented as cells (now stored as XML in XML DB) and there are just
representations of the data (now -- web-clients). The data may be
shared and calculable. Of course, we need many extra tools but idea
still be simple.

4) Continuing the logical parallel with MS Excel: we need calculable
XML elements :).

5) We need Sedna plugin for NetBeans text editor definitely :).

Regards,

-Andrey
