Well, usually you would see a marked performance dropoff somewhere after a
certain number of connections are open. I didn't realize until checking that
MySQL defaults to 151(!), see:

which seems like a heck of a lot to me, but depends on what you are doing
with it I guess. I'll probably limit Senda to 50 to start...
