Hi,
I received ERROR SE3007 while doing an update-replace and from that point
trying to start the database yields:
$ se_sm testdb
Starting database recovery or hot-backup restoration...
Database recovery in progress...
SEDNA Message: FATAL ERROR
in process [28174] se_sm testdb
System error. This error means system malfunction.
Details: Offset is out of range
se_stop at that point hangs. After I kill it (with Control-C) running
se_stop reports that the server is not running but I there are stil se_gov
and se_rcv porcesses running.
Is there a way to recover the database?
What might be causing the 3007 error?
Is that a bug?
I'm running 3.1.175 on Ubuntu. My database contains about 30K documents with
an average size of 13K per document. All documents are in one collection.
The update-replace I was running was quite heavy. However, the same
operation succeeded on a smaller database with about 1000 documents. Please
let me know if you need more information.
Thanks in advance,
Ron
