That's a great suggestion to reply with :-)
Further suggestion is that the "somebody" should be the original suggester!

My current proposal is to add a new "-sm-list-xml" command line option 
in kernel/gov/rc.cpp source, analogous to existing "-sm-list" option but 
output in XML format.  Now, aside from simply a listing of existing 
Sedna databases and count of sessions, what other Governor runtime state 
information/goodies would you like to see in the XML output?  I haven't 
looked much further into msg_struct received from Governor shared memory 
(?) yet so your guidance would be useful.

Anyway I'm on with the task forthwith and will send my source code 
contribution for the Sedna project to you in the near future.
