Looks like problem with network. Are you sure that connection is stable?
Have you looked at dmesg/syslog on both systems?
Send us also Sedna event logs after such failure.

Is this that moment you got the error on the client? Do you mean that event
log misses some entries (queries)?

Yep, you can set query timeout. But by default it is infinite. See there
