[SaF] Detecting Proxy Settings

I know this probably should go to the comp-u-help list, but I can't find the 
address  :o(

Can anyone tell me why, when I open my IE5, it says in the lower left hand 
corner "Detecting Proxy Settings"  ?  It never used to say that, and now it 
takes FOREVER to open my browser!
