Anyone have any suggestions for me regarding this matter?
I am selling my 1978 Custom Restored VW Westfalia Camper. The potential
buyer wants to send me certified check for $X and then give me the remainder
$X when he drives down to pick up the vehicle. He is over 18, and has seen
the photos of the vehicle, and all accompanying paperwork regarding
ammenities. I have disclosed the few flaws that I know exist (paint chips,
sold as is, etc..). What else do I, the seller, need to be thinking about?
I've never sold a car over the internet. I have only sold to buyers who have
SEEN the car for themselves, and driven it pre-purchase.
