You were correct, LISTSERV does not have good info files. .Besides 'Lists'
command does not work for the hosting Servers.
I would now like to try out Majordomo. Please guide me how to get addresses of
Majordomo servers.I could send lists' commmd to the respective servers and get
the details of lists by"Info" command.

LISTSERV's do not always have good info files. I often think Majordomo
owners do a better job of providing non-subscribers info about the
lists. However, for LISTSERV's, one could try and find information
about the list at the Catalist site:
