More caveats:

You'll many times find that a retailer will make up the $
savings they offer on the purchase price of an item, by an
increased shipping and handling price. I've seen this a number
of times (on AND offline).

Before you decide based on sale price, verify what the shipping
charges will be.

Also is the item 'in stock'? Often the seller with the lowest
price will have the highest shipping and handling and your
purchase will be back-ordered.

Also many online retailers will not inform you of whether your
item is 'in stock' or not, until AFTER you've made your
purchase. I never bother with that type of company, whether
they've got the lowest price or not.
