Hi Debbie,
This is strange since you say you do not have Word.
winword.exe is the name of the executable file for Word,that is to read the
file it is Word needed
Words documents end in ".doc" e.g. file.doc Did you saved your document as
anything.doc?.
If you save it as anything.rtf I understand it is possible to read it with
other text editors. Of course it can lose some formatting. But this is if
you wrote your document in Word.
