The free accounts do have a limited storage capacity
of 3MB...but there are ways around this.  yahoo will
increase your capacity to a much higher amount (I'm
thinking 10 MB??...I'd have to check) for about $20 a
year.  I generally delete most things after checking
them out, bookmarking them or making sure there is an
archive to go to at a later date.  Also I sometimes
forward some things to my ISP email (which is
obviously of larger capacity) if I want to keep it
longer.  Also you can have more than one
account...different inboxes for different for
different lists.  I haven't found that necesary yet! 
I am on several email lists and since I check them
daily...I don't have a problem.  I also have in the
past saved information or emails to a disk.  So there
are all sorts of options depending on your needs.
