I do not know how many people would like to join. Not many seem to believe in that effect, although it is very real from the geological point of view (the subsurface is full of structures at all scales and with determined directions depending on the stress/strain field) and from the physical (e.g. the conductivity is a tensor, not a scalar) perspective.
