TAMUCC Spring Breakdown Regatta 2008
Report: Nine teams attended the first ever event hosted by TAMUCC at
Corpus Christi Yacht Club. The day started out with abnormally light
breeze forcing a postponement for an hour and a half. After an hour
and a half of racing, breeze picked up enough to send A div. out and
begin racing for the day. The breeze steadily picked up throughout
the day and eight races in each division were completed. Races were
run in the CC Marina immediately off the seawall, yielding many
spectators. Special thanks to Matt Sterrett for running the event,
and as always a special thanks to CCYC for all they do to support
college sailing and TAMUCC.
