SMU Spring Regatta 2008
White Rock Lake
February 23, 2008
I would like to apologize to everyone for the delay, I just received the
results today.
With 9 teams in attendance, White Rock Lake was sunny and windy. There were no
delays or protests. A&M had a breakdown in the 14th race. The OU Women's team
placed 2nd in points, but was scored last because they did not have a complete
team. The breeze was from the South, South East and started off light in the
morning but built as the afternoon went on. We were able to complete all the
races, and we ended around 4. A total of 9 races were sailed in each division.
A big thanks goes to Blake and Jake for taking time to come out and coach us.
An additional thanks to Anderson and his friend for being our race committee.
