Hi Felix,

Thanks for the advice. I can certainly try that, though I was hoping that I
wouldn't have to do a full package installation.

The Seisan libraries were compiled in the same environment.

Brian

Hi Brian,

I don't have a full solution for your problem with compiling Seisan Explorer,
just a bit of experience to share:

I tried to compile SE with a QT version (5.12.9) installed in a conda
environment, but I also failed trying it like that (don't remember if it was
the same error).

When I installed the whole QT framework, I was able to compile SE on Ubuntu
18.04 LTS. The whole QT framework download is more than 10 times larger than
the one on conda, though I'm not sure if missing functions or library packages
are really the reason the SE compilation fails.

Download links for QT framework versions where one doesn't have to sign up are
now available here: http://download.qt.io/archive/qt/5.12/5.12.9/

Cheers,

Felix
