On a hunch, I changed the station locations in STATION0.HYP from high resolution to normal.
VELMENU now produces a starting location that is almost correct - the longitude is positive instead of negative. olat = 13.345 olon = 61.181 But I still get errors from VELEST saying the stations are not in the station list. I manually edited olon to be negative, but still got these errors.
