I found what it was, walked through it all with a _javascript_ debugger and found that I'd introduced some newlines/spaces into the document.

FireFox 1.07 didn't seem to care, and just ignored the extraneous whitespace, but FireFox 1.5 (on this machine at least) did care.  Very odd....

It works just fine for me in FireFox 1.5 as well as 1.0.7 and I am using a lot of verifyTextPresent. I am using the driven mode, but I don't think it should matter.

Hey all, I noticed 100% of my selenium tests started failing under FireFox 1.5 on any verifyTextPresent check, is anyone else seeing this or is just me?
