How about having the text "search the map" in the field and "search" in the button like google does, then bring the coordinates down to the right or below that field. Make the coordinates appear like it is hard coded unless you hover over it upon which time it becomes a text field (much like what happens when you hover over someone's name in gtalk.
The majority of people are going to want to search the map anyway, so that should be the first point of reference. If someone wants to change the coordinates they still have the ability. I'm actually inclined to ask why the coordinates field even matters since you can just populate that in the "search the map" field and click search anyway and get the same result.
