Hi developers, MediaWiki 1.10 will appear soon, and we would like to release SMW 0.7 shortly after. So please, if you have any half-done contributions or other things to finish, please consider doing it soon. Also, please do not start larger new implementations unless you can get them sufficiently done within a short time.
What I think remains to do is the following: * Complete SMW's new browsing specials (Denny, Daniel, ...) * Review the Enum-Datatype written by S. (Markus) * Finish Tooltip code (Tobias) * Update INSTALL instructions (Markus) * Translate the new messages. Can also be done for 0.7.1 if not complete. Did I forget anything? Most other things would remain for SMW 0.8, which will probably appear quicker than 0.7 did. Ongoing work this includes is: * Finish rewrite of storage access API * Complete query API * Rewrite datavalue code to support Type:Wikipage (or whatever) * Combine Relations and Attributes into Properties as discussed. Requires quite some changes, but also simplifies many things. * Improve DateTime datatype. Interestingly, this could be simplified by the new storage layer. (S?)
