Greetings,
It would be nice to have a Image datatype, whith should be rendered as
a standard image link (with options) in result of search query.
Currently, I've tried to combine [[Image:]] wikitext with inline <ask>
query for attribute that has a type of String and value of imagename,
that didn't work. If there's a possibility of image queries, please
let me know. Otherwise, I might consider trying to do that myself (a
bit hard, because I am not expert in mediawiki architecture, though I
wrote my own simple MW extension).
Will there be a Russian translation for v0.7? I've noticed that about
20 translations are ready (0.6 has much less).
Also, I've encountered a problem with SMW 0.6 predefined namespaces.
They are dependent on current local interface language ("uselang"
variable). That means, I cannot combine different local namespace
names in one project. However, it works with standard MediaWiki
namespaces: I can use either Template: or Image: namespace or their
Russian translated equivalents Schablon: or Izobrazhenie:. Produces
the same results. Changing "uselang" in SMW 0.6 and namespaces not
found, types report unknown type and so on..
