And having to copy the query result manually into the property page is not my 
idea of "automated"...

Unfortunately, the first and last results aren't properly linked and commas 
need to separate the values.

Not my goal but I can (and already) do that via the semantic form.

Why is there a 255-character limit? How can it be increased for just this 
enumeration type at least?

Been there, done that, tried on the t-shirt (didn't like it), and was told to 
wait until the new t-shirt line came out with features
I didn't ask for.
