Guys, I noticed that you remove SIMILE timeline include from all pages and
have it only on those that have timeline as output - thanx a lot for that!
I have one more question about it though - it seems to me that you use
modular version of timeline script that makes multiple requests to the
server for several javascripts. This actually make user experience suffer
because to do multiple requests takes longer then one (if you're interested
in details, take a look at this
presentation<http://www.techpresentations.org/High_Performance_Webpages>)
and since your code is not using different part at different times, I don't
think there is any reason to do so.
FriendExplorer <http://apps.facebook.com/friendsexplorer/> Facebook
application I wrote uses SIMILE timeline and loads it from
http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/api/timeline-api.js which only loads one more
file - http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/api/bundle.js
I wonder if you can use this approach and have all the timeline code bundled
into one file?
Thank you,
Sergey
