For awhile now I've felt a bit disconnected from the Semantic MediaWiki
community. (Actually, for the longest time I was previously unable to
even post to either of the mailing lists, the only reason I am able to
now is because of gmane)
Semantic Forms has a channel, however it's basically dead and completely
unused.
As for the rest of the MediaWiki community, most people hang out in
#mediawiki, however I notice very few semantic people there. In fact,
#mediawiki isn't a very friendly place to be for the semantic community,
a few users there chime in with annoying comments whenever someone
mentions the word "Semantic" **cough**/Splarka/**cough**...

So, I took the liberty of registering #semanticmediawiki on FreeNode. I
hope many of the members of the Semantic community here would join the
channel, IRC is quite a nice medium for discussion.
And of course I'd be happy to adjust the ACCESS list for the sysops over
at semantic-mediawiki.org.
Thanks in advance if anyone adds information on the irc channel to
semantic-mediawiki.org
