That did the trick, thanks Yaron. a 3000 setting didn't help, but 10000 did.
I need to read more learn how to determine the right setting, but it's a
great work-around for now.

Have a good weekend.

Hi Sal,

Happy new year! I don't know much about this, but I did a web search and the
"max_input_vars" php.ini setting looks relevant:

http://www.php.net/manual/en/info.configuration.php#ini.max-input-vars

Please let me know if changing that works for you.

Hi Yaron,

I had a little break for the holidays and didn't get a chance to hit this
problem until yesterday. Some experimentation is showing me that it looks
like it may be the issue you suggested, PHP limiting the number of fields
whose value can be passed on submission. But so far, I haven't been able
to find the setting that could help me change that limit. If you've got any
more hints you can suggest on what I should be looking for, I'd appreciate
it.

Thanks. Happy New Year everyone.

Sal

Hi Sal,

A few variations on this question have come up on the mailing lists
recently. SF itself doesn't impose any limits - but PHP and/or Javascript
have their own natural limits, PHP by limiting the number of fields whose
value can be passed when the form is submitted, and Javascript by slowing
down the browser. If your issue is the former, it may be possible to fix it
by changing the setting; with the latter, a different browser may work
better.

Thanks.
