Hi, For some time people have talked about and raised questions like "How does SMW perform" but without standardized tests or replicable data it is very difficult to engage in a reasonable discussion about performance of new features or potential regressions.
[0] introduces a method to perform tests that will output comparable data for SMW specific benchmarks [0, 1] by simply using PHPUnit and `--group semantic-mediawiki-benchmark`. A practical application of the benchmark results can be found at [2] which tries to answer the question of "How HHVM compares to PHP 5.6" by sharing some insights for different page load scenarios (1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K) when SMW is involved.
