<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:User_rights> There is an extension that allows for more detailed setups: <http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Group_Based_Access_Control> With regards to Semantic MediaWiki there's a serious caveat to be considered: the semantics don't care about these kind of permissions as of now. That means, if you have a number of secret pages (i.e. only you can read them) with your girlfriends and you add their phone numbers as attributes, and someone else asks about the phone numbers of all people in the wiki -- he will also see these numbers. This behaviour should be changed one day, but it is not completely clear yet, how.
